This site has recently undergone a few updates.
The most significant of these is that the TG News page (this page) is now in a 'blog' format which is mirrored on Blogger.com: - throbbing--gristle.blogspot.com

This change means comments can now be left to TG News posts, although 99% of the time the comments will not be answered or commented on by TG, or any TG representatives and are instead included for TG fans and followers to use amongst themselves. At present the blog comments are 'unmoderated'. However, if the situation warrants it this may change to 'moderated', or in a worst case scenario, the comments feature may be disabled altogether.
So we'll have to see how this new feature on TG.com works out. Be nice people...

Along with updates to the format of the TG News section on the TG site we have also moved the Gristleizer section to its own dedicated site. There is also now a dedicated MOD BLOG for anyone interested in DIY Gristleism circuit modifications.

TG have recently been working on a collaboration with renowned artist Cerith Wyn Evans. The piece entitled A=P=P=A=R=I=T=I=O=N consists of a large sculpture incorporating 16 suspended and highly polished circular Audio Spotlight panels. TG have composed a special multi-channel soundtrack that plays through the sculpture.
A=P=P=A=R=I=T=I=O=N is on show at Tramway, Glasgow - 7th August to 27th September

A=P=P=A=R=I=T=I=O=N is a remarkable audio structure and we urge you to visit the exhibition to participation and interact with what is truly a unique TG aural experience.

Industrial Records Ltd. is proud to announce a special limited edition in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the release of Throbbing Gristle's first album 'The Second Annual Report' as well as to mark and celebrate the official re-activation of the Industrial Records label.

This 12" 180gm vinyl LP comprises a recording of Throbbing Gristle's live demonstration at La Villette in Paris on 6th June 2008 at which they performed a reinterpretation of their original album. This album is pre-framed in bespoke, high-quality white gloss acrylic with an easy access clear window for removal of the record/sleeve (see photos above) and ready to hang.

Purchasers of this unique object will also receive a special 'black' extended CD version, which includes extra tracks that would not fit on the vinyl format. In addition, all buyers of the framed edition will have access to a free digital download of the extended version and a PDF booklet of text and photos.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING
'PART TWO - TOTEMIC EDITION CD'

The first 4000 copies of PART TWO The Endless Not came with a Totemic Gift inserted into the spine area of the jewel case. Four Editions, of 1000 copies each, in copper, bone, rubber and wood, were released. The Totemic Gifts were handmade under Peter Christopherson's personal supervision in Thailand. These copies were distributed worldwide, although obviously opportunities to find them were limited and to some extent random. As far as we know none of these editions that reached stores remain unsold. We are very aware that many people will not have had the opportunity to obtain copies of the Totem Editions (indeed some may never have even seen them) so in the nick of time, we purchased a small number and held them back so as to make them slightly more generally available to regular visitors to our website. In addition to the four Totem Editions from Mute/EMI, there is also a Japanese release of the Endless Not which contains a fifth Totemic Gift item, in stainless steel. Finally Peter Christopherson has produced a sixth Totemic Gift in 23 carat gold, of which at present only one exists.
