1976 • THE INDUSTRIAL RECORDS LABEL HAS CEASED TRADING • 2018
This Industrial Records sub-site serves only as a repository for archive material of historical releases by Industrial Records Ltd. It essentially an archived copy of the original Industrial Records Ltd. website and will no longer be updated. The Throbbing Gristle music and video catalogue (past, present & future) is now under exclusive contract to Mute Records. Rights to other artists previous releases by Industrial Records have by now reverted to their respective copyright owners.

ABOUT THROBBING GRISTLE
Throbbing Gristle was formed on 3rd September 1975 in Hackney, London. England by
Chris Carter, Peter Christopherson, Cosey Fanni Tutti and Genesis P-Orridge.
Due to the death of Peter Christopherson and the unannounced departure of Genesis P-Orridge from the group
in 2010 Throbbing Gristle as a performing and recording 'band' have effectively have ceased to exist.
However, Mute Records will continue to reissue material from the Throbbing Gristle Industrial Records back-catalogue and also release archive material and recordings that were previously unavailable.
